Facing Race is a movement-building multiracial conference of activists, educators, and other leaders that promotes racial equity. With about 2,000 attendees, this bi-annual conference offers panels, workshops, and collaboration with other racial justice leaders.

 

The next conference will be in Detroit, MI, from November 8th -10th, 2018.

Run by the National Association of Independent Schools, PoCC enables all educators to enhance the cultural climates at their schools by teaching leadership, professional development, and networking. The 2017 conference will be in Anaheim, CA, from November 30th - December 2nd. 

Registration opens September 5, fee ranges from $330-$980. Email NAIS@experient-inc.com to see if your school is eligible to register.

The WPC is a conference that examines different types of privilege, including race, sexual orientation, and class, “and offers solutions and team-building strategies to work toward a more equitable world.” The 1,500 annual attendees include students, educators, activists, social workers, nonprofit staff, healthcare employees, and others.

 

Dates/location for the next annual conference are TBD.

Registration rates vary from $100-$450 depending on individual and time of registration.
